Truro – Cornwall’s only city is a bustling place with some great shops and restaurants. Characterised by its dominant cathedral, Truro is a great place to explore with its narrow lanes and markets.
Falmouth – Situated on a huge harbour which welcomes yachts and ships from all over the world, Falmouth is a town with a rich maritime history. It is the home of the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. Falmouth is also an arty town, thanks to the Falmouth College of Art, and boasts many find art galleries and craft shops.
St Agnes – This picturesque village on the north coast has narrow winding lanes leading down to a sheltered beach. It’s a traditional Cornish village with the remnants of the area’s mining history nearby.
Eden Project – the world’s largest ‘greenhouse’ boasts both a mediterranean and tropical biomes which are filled with exotic plants from these regions. A must for anyone visiting this part of Cornwall.
Lanhydrock House – This National Trust property just a short drive from Ladock is a wonderful place to visit. The Victorian country house shows how wealthy merchants used to live. The gardens and estate are beautiful. More active visitors will enjoy the off-road biking trails on the estate.
